My Michelle,

If there’s one thing I hope you feel as you explore this little world I’ve made for you, it’s how much you mean to me.

Today is special in more ways than one. Not only are we getting closer to your birthday, but we’re also celebrating ten months of us. Ten months of learning each other, making memories, laughing, loving, and figuring things out along the way. When I think about how far we’ve come, I can’t help but smile.

You know, there’s something about being with you that makes even the simplest moments feel special. It doesn’t always have to be somewhere fancy or some big occasion. Sometimes, just being around you, talking to you, holding you close or simply looking at you is enough to make my day. You have this way of making ordinary moments mean so much more to me.

And I know our journey hasn’t always been smooth. We’ve had our ups and downs, moments when we didn’t understand each other, moments when things got difficult, and times when loving each other required a little more patience. But through it all, here we are. Still choosing each other. Still growing. Still us.

I want you to know that I don’t take that for granted.

I love you, Michelle. More than I probably manage to express sometimes. I love the person you are, the little things that make you you, and the happiness that comes with having you in my life.

And when I say I want to go far with you, I mean it. Not only when everything is beautiful and easy, but also when life gets difficult. I’m willing to keep learning, growing, understanding and working towards the kind of love we both deserve. I don’t just want beautiful moments with you. I want a future with you.

You’re the woman I see myself sharing this life with. The one I want beside me through the different seasons of life, the achievements, the challenges, the quiet days and all the adventures still waiting for us.

My Michelle,

Ten months. Sometimes I sit and think about how far we’ve come, and honestly, there’s so much that comes to mind. But if there’s one memory I could revisit over and over again, it would be our first date at Leonia Park, Namugongo.

My goodness, I remember that day. 😹❤️

I remember how you came late, and I remember exactly how you were dressed. You looked so sexy and cute, and I don’t think you even understood how beautiful you looked to me that day. But what I remember most are those never-ending smiles of yours. I loved every moment of being there with you. I wanted time to slow down a little because I was genuinely enjoying having you beside me.

And then there’s our first kiss. ❤️

I remember every detail of it. It’s one of those moments that stays with you, not because it was some grand event, but because of who you shared it with. That day became more than just our first date. It became one of those memories I’ll always carry with me.

And look at us now. Ten months later.

We’ve had our beautiful moments, our random quarrels, times when we’ve misunderstood each other, and moments when we’ve let each other down. We haven’t always gotten everything right. But somehow, even after the difficult moments, we keep finding our way back to each other.

I think that’s one of the things that makes our story special to me. We’re still learning, still growing, still discovering how to love each other better.

When I look back at these ten months, the feeling that stands out most is being loved and having someone to love right back. Knowing that there’s someone whose presence can make an ordinary day feel special. Someone whose smile I could never get tired of seeing.

I’m grateful for you, Ma Chérie. For the memories we’ve made, the lessons we’ve learned, and even the moments that have challenged us.

If I could go back to that first date, I’d still choose to show up, wait for you, enjoy those endless smiles and steal that first kiss all over again.

And if I had the chance to choose again, I’d still choose you.

The Little Things I Love About You ❤️

You probably don’t realise just how many little things make you special to me.

Where do I even begin? 😹

I could talk about your beauty, but that would barely scratch the surface. It’s the little things about you that get me every single time.

First, YOUR SMILE. ❤️

Especially when I tell you something sweet and you start smiling or blushing. You have no idea how much I enjoy that. The funny thing is, I end up smiling too. Sometimes I just want to keep saying sweet things to you because seeing that reaction makes me ridiculously happy.

And your shyness! There’s something about those moments when you become shy that I find so attractive. That innocent side of you is one of my favourite things. But don’t get too comfortable, because I also know how stubborn you can become. 😹 You really know how to keep me on my toes.

And speaking of keeping me on my toes... there’s that look you give me when you’re annoyed. Especially when you decide to ignore me. 😂 I don’t know whether I’m supposed to apologise, laugh or try harder to win you back. Sometimes that little expression of yours is just too funny.

Then there’s your feet. 😭❤️

Ma Chérie, I genuinely believe nobody else has feet as small and cute as yours. I don’t know why I find that detail so adorable, but I do. It’s one of those random little things that make me think, “That’s my girl.”

And your eyes... the way you look at me. I honestly don’t think another girl could look at me quite the way you do. There’s something about that look that feels uniquely yours, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

But beyond all those things, I love the way you show that you care.

When you ask me how my day has been, when you check on me, when you send me one of your sweet voice notes, those little gestures mean more than you might realise. They remind me that I’m not just someone you talk to, but someone you genuinely think about.

And I hope you never stop doing those little things.
